Valuable and Fortune's Fool have both been knocking on the door recently but have paid the penalty at the hands of the handicapper for their consistency and a better bet may be Alethea Gee, who should be suited by the return to today's trip. The selection seemed not to stay 2m4f in soft ground at Market Rasen last time and is better judged on earlier form behind Queen Excalibur at Uttoxeter on similar ground to today's. Possible Gale seemed to show improved form at Kilbeggan last time but was well beaten on his latest trip to these shores and is probably best watched today, while Multeen Gunner reverts to hurdles after a spell chasing but does not appear to be particularly well treated. Compton Eagle struggled off his new mark last time, while both Tiger Talk and Dalida have long absences to overcome. There are no such problems for Alethea Gee though and Keith Reveley's mare looks the one to beat.
