In depth

Verdict

Cedar Hill and Mister Manduro could be interesting in this after pipe-openers at Perth but Lord Springfield had the run of the race in novice company at Southwell and just held on. Ballycrystal looks the pick of the Micky Hammond trio but this can go to PRUSSIA WITH LOVE, who has switched stables since a cosy win at Uttoxeter but hasn’t many miles on the clock and should be effective in this higher grade. Lastofthecosmics finally got off the mark at Perth but is 5lb higher here while the lack of a recent run could hamper Summer Lightening and Ask Paddington. Calvinist has been creeping up the weights without winning.
