Northwest Frontier has had his problems since winning a 2m handicap at York two years ago. Timoshenko was also a decent stayer on the level and he made a winning debut over timber. He disappointed on his second start, however, and was taken out of a race at Bangor on Tuesday on account of the ground so recent rain is a worry. The yard also run MUSTANG ALPHA, who can probably be forgiven his run at Cartmel on Sunday as he lost a shoe on the way round. He is just preferred to Galileo Silver, who was second at Bangor last month and runs in this rather than a handicap later on the card.
