Last year’s winner Cash Again has struggled so far this season and finished a long way behind Joie De Vivre over track and trip in October. The latter has failed to figure since but CAILIN DEARG (NAP) landed a mares' only race in soft ground over course and distance earlier in the month. Rose Dobbin’s charge has plenty of scope for further progress and is preferred to Don Brocco, third in an amateurs’ race at Catterick recently. Hexham runner-up Shoeshine Boy may well figure again and The Steward looks best of the rest.
