LEPRECHAUN'S GOLD looks well placed to land this race with Sorrento Moon and Just Posh also considered. The selection has been very consistent in contests of this standard in recent weeks landing two placings in the last two starts. On his penultimate outing he perhaps would have won the race but blundered badly late on to eventually finish second. The latest attempt was on similar ground over distance and the performance was a good pointer to the fact a race of this standard will come to this one. Furthermore unlike his main rivals he's is off the same mark as from his last two solid efforts and he will receive weight almost all round here. Sorrento Moon will find conditions here ideal and her recent hurdles form is pretty good. She was a winner in similar company on the flat in August and although bare results look good she has been very novicy over obstacles and any improvement puts her right in this race. Just Posh, so far, has improved for every run over hurdles so far and could do so again to grab a share of the spoils. A decent display here over a longer trip last time showed ability in this company but for that she has been raised 17lbs by the assessor, which will really dent her chances. A return to the sort of form that had Miss Champagne placed in a better contest means she could be an each-way wager off a still fair mark but to win it we go for Leprechaun's Gold.
