Not a strong race by any stretch of the imagination with a wide range of jockeyship on view but Menelek Lord has plenty going for him under an experienced amateur and gets the vote. The gelded son of Yashgan was a little below his best last time when tiring in testing conditions but has claims on earlier efforts including his third of 23 in a competitive handicap over this sort of trip at Catterick last month. Redouble will appreciate the drying conditions and is not without chances on the pick of his recent efforts but High Drama has been very disappointing of late and can't be backed with confidence at present despite being best in at the weights on official figures. In the circumstances it would be no surprise if the newcomer Native Lady were to make an impact at this level and should be noted in the exchanges.
