In depth

Verdict

Master Rajeem was a very easy winner over course and distance earlier this month but was then well beaten under a penalty at Fakenham. He has another 5lb to carry today and his stable is just going through a quiet spell whereas Donald McCain's yard is starting to fire again. His SIR MANGAN was pulled up at Chepstow over Christmas but this is a significant drop in grade and a thorough test of stamina could be right up his street. Wolf Shield looks the pick of the remainder as Scarlet Fire and Hexham winner Moyode Wood were always struggling in separate races at Newcastle last time.
