In depth

Verdict

Talarive,Star Trooper and Al Mabrook are three against the field in a tough race to call for punters and the vote is given to Talarive. The selection won well last time out when beating Tensile and although he has a penalty for that win he won with a little in hand and could still be ahead of the handicapper and under conditions that suit he is taken to score. Star Trooper rates the main danger on his latest third behind Irish Blessing but all his best form of late has been on a slightly softer surface and for that reason he is over looked. Al Mabrook is another worthy of respect as he was a fair fifth behind He's Hot Right Now. That form has since been franked and he has definite place claims. Of the remainder Tiger Talk and In Good Faith are from yards in form and should be noted in the market and for the winner we return to Talarive.
