A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be D J Flippance San Peire and Primitive Poppy and the tentative vote is given to San Peire. The selection was disappointing last time out but prior to that he had been in good form. He remains on a fair mark and under conditions that suit he is taken to regain the winning thread. D J Flippance rates the main danger as he won well last time when beating Kerry Lads. He returns to hurdling on a handy mark and he should be closely monitored in the market. Primitive Poppy is another that could go well on her latest second behind Joe Brown but that form has since been let down and at likely odds she looks worth taking on. Letitia's Loss was a fair fourth behind Birdwatch last time and is sure to strip fitter here but she will do well to give weight and a beating to some less exposed types. Of the remainder Gimme Shelter could go well but he is sure top be taken on for the lead and in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to San Peire who has conditions to suit.
