      Verdict

      Forward Flight's second to Nelson's Bridge at Bangor in December was a very decent first effort as the winner scored over hurdles on his next start. But he hasn't raced since and may just have to give best to YORKIST, who kept on well behind Many Clouds at Wetherby last month despite looking in need of the experience. Backstage Lady didn't show much on her debut while Yes Daddy will probably need further but Precious Lass is a half-sister to bumper and hurdles winner Diocles and should be noted in the betting.
