Astrum appeared to be travelling best when unseating Harry Stock at the second last at Kelso last month. He's never won on ground this soft but has run well enough to be considered. Mitcd has improved recently but she's picked up a penalty for her win at Musselburgh. Kenneth Slack has a great strike-rate here but maybe Discoverie is better over fences nowadays and Civil Unrest would also have preferred tackling the larger obstacles. FIDDLER'S FLIGHT won on soft going over course and distance in March and is only a pound higher. It's worth taking a chance on his fitness after a break.
