Winning pointer The Bay Oak was second over course and distance on his debut under Rules and today's softer going will help. Mahlerdramatic won a couple of bumpers around this time last year and should make a hurdler. His yard could not be in better form but he does have a lengthy absence to overcome. ARAMIST won five times on the Flat and will enjoy the soft going. He was a good third over 2m at Haydock last month and looks the one to beat here if the further step up in trip suits and he takes to hurdles.
