In depth

Verdict

This carries quite a valuable prize for the track and it's attracted a decent line-up. Donald McCain runs two and, though Mr Burgees might need this, Court Dismissed should be among the market leaders having won here last month before finishing second at Newcastle. Wolf Sword has been knocking on the door lately and has improved since finishing tailed off behind Five In A Row here on his hurdling debut. Steve Gollings' runners here are always worth a second look and Make Me A Fortune should be thereabouts while Istimraar is something of a course specialist. Dianne Sayer and Sue Smith are other trainers who are double-handed and the latter's RED DANAHER gets the vote. It was no surprise to see him get off the mark here last time as some of his earlier form had shown promise. He has the beating of Ice 'N Easy on the form book and the going is in his favour again.
