Verdict

A difficult finale for punters to work out and a tentative vote is given to The Pen, Nobody's Perfect and Never So Blue could provide most danger. The selection was successful on her hurdles debut at Wetherby eighteen months ago before taking on top company at the same track. She has landed two races on the flat during last summer and should be spot on for this having had a couple of spins on the all-weather last month. Nobody's Perfect comes here in winning form having dead-heated with Cloudmor over the two and a half mile trip. She would have been the clear winner but for a mistake at the last and she holds obvious claims here. Never So Blue has claims on his impressive victory at Uttoxeter in December, especially if there is any more rain. My Condor is from a yard amongst the winners and is another to consider for the places, however our idea of the winner is The Pen.
