Cracboumwiz gets the nod here, with Chorizo, Quarry Town, and Pur De Sivola comprising the shortlist. The last-named disappointed when a red-hot favourite on his British debut at Fontwell, but had previously shown some fair form in France, especially when only beaten five lengths in a Grade Two contest. It is certainly too early to write him off, and with his weight-for-age-allowance, he should run better today. Chorizo was beaten out of sight on his hurdling debut, however today's softer going will suit him and he remains of interest, especially with his stable in grand form. Quarry Town makes his hurdles debut today and should be watched for signs of confidence in the market, whilst Lunar Thyme could go well at a big price if continuing his gradual improvement. Despite returning from a lay-off of 437 days, Cracboumwiz secures the nomination today. The form of his hurdles debut reads well in the contest of this event, and he looked interesting prior to his long layoff. Assuming that he is fully recovered from any injuries, and that he doesn't pull too hard on this reappearance, he holds very solid claims. He secures the nomination.
