held up, headway 8th, led on bit last, easily
led to 2nd, led again 7th, ridden and headed last, no chance with winner
tracked leaders, reminder 6th, ridden next, weakened 8th
raced keenly, held up in touch, headway to lead 5th, headed 7th, every chance 2 out, soon ridden, no extra flat
tracked leader, led 2nd, headed 5th, ridden and weakened approaching 2 out
held up in rear, headway 8th, ridden approaching 2 out, soon weakened
held up in rear, mistake 7th, some headway next, ridden and weakened approaching 2 out
A wide open affair rounds off proceedings and many can be given chances on there best form. But we will take a chance on San Peire. The gelding from the Howard Johnson yard won over course and distance when defeating Paddys Thyme last time out and a reproduction of that effort would make him hard to beat. Trooper won over fences last time out and is on a fair mark now he is switched back to hurdles and the more rain that falls the better for him. Frankie Anson is another that could go well but all his best efforts are on very fast ground. Orange Order is well in on his best form over fences but he has become disappointing of late. Of the remainder Chancers Dante is from a shrewd yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market.
