MISS PROSS can pick up a prize over hurdles though Front Rank and Shifting Gold have claims. Tim Walford's mare was out of form for some time though managed to take a recent chase in decent style. She has not appeared the most fluent of chasers though seems to relish big fields and a decent pace and this opportunity is therefore approached with some merit. Front Rank does not win often though is dangerous if granted the opportunity of a soft lead. Ryan Mania's claim could prove very handy on this horse as he is likely to be available at long odds. Shifting Gold is a fair dual purpose prospect. He can tend to get very wound up in the preliminaries and it will be interesting to see if he is on his best behaviour this afternoon. Catch Bob won well at Leicester in November though has struggled to cope with a hike up the weights. Euro American was considered a fast ground horse by previous connections some time ago so it will be interesting to see if there is any money around in the ring. Abstinence has to be respected from the Howard Johnson stable while Domino Dancer was well backed at Newcastle last time though was comprehensively beaten on the day. A race where there will be a good pace but with plenty of deadwood, Miss Pross should be capable of making her class count.
