Verdict

DISCOVERIE isn't the most prolific of winners and had been a beaten favourite in his previous five starts before a facile victory over Dullhallowcountry at Catterick last week but a 7lb penalty doesn't look enough to prevent a follow-up. The veteran Pamak D'airy is now on his lowest mark since 2013 and is no forlorn hope to gain his seventh victory over fences as he's been racing at a slightly higher grade and has Tony Kelly's claim to aid his cause. Captain Sharpe beat the prolific Roxyfet over the track and trip last month but was firmly put in his place by the runner-up on a return visit.
