Sir Apollo gained his second course and distance success very easily last month but has gone up 11lb as a consequence. However, he had Onestepatatime 11 lengths behind over the track and trip in November and, though the latter has completed a course and distance double subsequently, a 6lb pull doesn't look enough to turn the tables. COURT AT SLIP (NAP) has twice won over shorter this winter but, in the expectation he'll stay the trip, he's handed the vote. Who's In The Box had dropped to a winnable mark at Carlisle but is back up 5lb, though should again hold runner-up Aire Valley Lad.
