In depth
Verdict
Miss Pross has been running consistently well under testing conditions of late but may find the ground here a touch too quick and he looks worth taking on with preference for Beau Largesse, who gets the vote ahead of It's A Roofer. The selection is less exposed than most of his rivals after just five starts and, following a promising run under heavy ground on his handicap debut here last month, looks worth siding with back on a more suitable surface today. Square Dealer is seemingly better on a softer surface, while the consistent So Cloudy has ground conditions to suit but may now be a shade high in the weights. Northern Quest and Jendali Lad face no easy task from out of the weights proper and of more interest is top weight It's A Roofer, who has probably been waiting for his favoured ground. He has to be respected but there could be more to come from Beau Largesse, who is preferred.
