Verdict

County Derry handler Noel Kelly has a fine record when sending horses to the UK and all four of MIA'S ANTHEM's victories have been here. He jumped really well and was always in command when scoring at Hexham and this longer trip is in his favour though a massive 12lb rise looks a bit harsh. Highland Lodge is much better class than these at his best but has become very frustrating having failed to win for almost three years. He was heavily supported on his comeback at Warwick last month but finished tailed off and blinkers are applied for the first time. Swing Hard has been in poor form which is why he's 3lb lower than his last winning mark but Dystonia's Revenge chased home the selection at Hexham and he also would have found the trip on the short side.
