Marsh Run has put in some decent efforts this season without getting her head in front, but he could manage it today, La Perrotine and Farne isle look the obvious dangers. Mick Easterby's mare appears to be improving and went down by just two lengths to Cake It Easy at Newcastle last time. Today's opposition if anything are a little less taxing and she can gain a deserved second victory. Farne Isle ran well in a handicap last time off a mark of 103 , finishing a 12 length third behind Deja Vu. However the six pounds she has to give to the selection just puts us off this one. A bigger threat could be Howard Johnson's La Perrotine, easy winner of a bumper on heavy ground at Hexham. Any more rain would help her cause on her first outing over hurdles. Ewe Beauty is from a stable in form and may prove best of the others, but Marsh Run has a lot going for her today and she is a confident choice.
