Verdict

Iain Jardine appears to have coaxed TITUS BOLT back to his best judged on last week’s second at Musselburgh, where he travelled strongly into contention until finding a well-handicapped rival too strong on the run-in. He’ll need to settle better to last home here but the booking of title-chasing Brian Hughes is a positive. Honourmission got off the mark over track and trip last month and is entitled to respect, despite a 6lb rise. Bertie Blake and Canny Style have the past form to figure but it’s difficult to make a case for many of the others.
