Discoverie is hard to win with and ran in snatches when an odds-on chance in the race won by Duhallowcountry here last month. The winner was given an enterprising ride by his amateur rider that day and will probably be forcing the pace again but second CAPTAIN SHARPE has every chance of reversing the form on 7lb better terms so gets the nod. Neither Khazium nor Bertielicious should be good enough to take a hand in the finish.
Discoverie 4-5fav (11-2) Prominent early, soon held up in rear, pushed along and looked strugggling after 4th, good headway tracking winner 8th, pushed along and no impresssion after 3 out, dropped to 3rd approaching 2 out, 3rd of 6, 20l behind Duhallowcountry (10-7) at Sedgefield 2m hcp (5) sft in Mar.
