In depth

Verdict

It was testing going when Ali Star Bert scored at Uttoxeter while Late Date beat TANORA when successful at Catterick last month. But the latter has subsequently gone close over fences here on today’s good ground and is taken to reverse running with cheekpieces added. Atomic Angel had the measure of Fame And Hope when winning at Hexham earlier while Event Of Sivola can race off a 6lb lower mark back over hurdles. Akentrick looks best of the rest.
