Verdict
MORE LIKE IT is the call ahead of Farne Island and Miss Pross. Peter Niven's charge ran a very fair second to Blacks Bridge at Catterick last time out and while the handicapper has stepped in with a 2lb rise; he could be well handicapped at present. The fact that he hails from an unfashionable yard should ensure that he starts at bigger odds than his form entitles. Farne Island has an interesting jockey booking with Jason Maguire riding for Micky Hammond. A frustrating character, he does act on this surface and shouldn't be too far away. Miss Pross was disappointing last week at Catterick. On the positive, two miles at a true run pace seems to be her ideal trip. King Of The Arctic has dropped significantly down the weights although he has not been able to capitalise on the handicappers' leniency. Scale Bank must be watched closely in the market to see if there is any confidence in the ring. Moulin de La Croix is unproven on the surface but with Sam Twiston-Davies able to claim 7lbs off her back, the mare heads into this contest off a featherweight. Plenty of plausible winners and More Like It makes the most appeal.
