In depth

Verdict

A small field but a competitive one line up for this seller which looks to be in the grasp of North Landing with Sheer Guts, Alpha Juliet and Sylvie d'Orthe worthy of mention. A winner when last seen out in August 2004 at Bangor North Landing has obviously had his problems since but has run well fresh before and connections haven¿t aimed the horse too highly first time out. If reproducing his form he will take some beating. Sheer Guts carries top weight for his two wins this season at Fontwell and Market Rasen. His ability is limited as he has been tried against better company in the past without success. He is worth keeping an eye on in this grade though. As is Alpha Juliet and Sylvie d'Orthe who both drop in grade here and are more than capable of performing well if in the right frame of mind. But for the winner we return to North Landing.
