In depth

Verdict

A couple travel over from Ireland with decent claims including Shaws Bridge representing Gordon Elliott’s powerful set-up. But DAKOTA BEAT had the stronger form in bumpers having landed a double with a trip over to Hexham last time and it’s Gavin Cromwell’s charge that gets the vote on his hurdling debut. Dubai Days placed in a bumper at Ayr on his first outing for a new yard while Hart Of Steel showed some promise at Kelso and is another hurdling for the first time. Seaborough is preferred to Wax And Wane of those with hurdling experience having placed at Catterick a fortnight ago
