A wide open bumper rounds off the card and as usual in these events the market will be all important but the principals look to be Bal Birnie, Sprinkler and Funky Town and the vote is given to Bal Birnie. The selection was a fair third behind Georgian King last time out, that form looks rock solid in the context of this race and with improvement likely on this stiffer track he looks the one to be on. Sprinkler rates the main danger on his latest second behind One Rose, he is another that should improve and he will not be far away. Funky Town is another that could go well on his debut fifth behind Oscar Gogo but he is bred to be suited by a longer trip in time. Of the remainder Breaking Storm is another that ran with promise on his debut and is sure to improve but in a race where the market may well tell all, for the winner we return to Bal Birnie.
