Verdict

OPTICAL HIGH suffered a hike in the weights after winning at Market Rasen in December but that didn't stop him going close over track and trip last month. Sue Smith's charge gets the nod with most of the opposition struggling of late. Maggie Blue never figured last time but had run well for second at Ayr before that while Moscow Presents was still well beaten when third at Wetherby last time. A winner at Hexham in November, Dusky Bob remains out of sorts along with course and distance winner Snapping Turtle.
