Verdict

Those has an open look about it but Sue Smith appears to hold a strong hand with Small Present, placed in a couple of maidens this season and likely to be suited by a step up in distance, and shock Hexham winner Golden Robin. Trapper Peak seems to have got better with age and Cousin Oscar was second over course and distance on his reappearance. Archie Brown is having a first run for Harry Hogarth but gives the impression there will be more to come this season. VANCOUVER won over track and trip off this mark back in 2017 and has been tackling stronger opposition since successful at Uttoxeter in the summer. He’s not straightforward but could be too good for these if in the mood.
