      Verdict

A decent bumper for the time of year with Brian Ellison’s MANITOWOC COUNTY fancied to make a winning start under Rules. He was impressive in a point-to-point at Tinahely a year ago, costing current connections £30,000 shortly after. Djarkevi changed hands for £68,000 after winning between the flags in May and represents a powerful NH stable now, as does fellow points winner Knight In Dubai. Drums Of War, Just Bobby and Whitmel have already shown promise in bumpers so can’t be ignored.
