In depth

Verdict

Ben Haslam appears to have his string in good order so it would be no surprise to see a better run from course winner Ever So Much. Transpennine Star is 0-8 over timber but rarely runs a bad race and will be hard to keep out of the frame again. Dalaman was third over 2m at Ffos Las in January while Hard To Forget attracted market support at Market Rasen on Boxing Day, though only finished third and has gone up 2lb since. LORD MARMADUKE was another beaten favourite last time but was runner-up to a well-treated rival over this longer trip at Leicester in December so warrants another chance.
