Most can be safely ruled out here as it would appear that only Wynyard Dancer, Mr McDuck or Buddy Girie have a hope of winning, with the latter taken to improve on his course fourth to Son Of Anshan. He was bang in contention until two out then and should be a lot straighter this time. Wynyard Dancer's last outing under rules provided a victory at Hexham, but that was 11 months ago. Even so, his form between the flags reads better than the only other serious contender Mr McDuff, and he should give Buddy Girie most to do.
