A large field goes to post for the opener and the principals look to be Zumrah, Cara Sposa and Spirit Calling and the narrow vote is given to Zumrah. The selection was a fair third behind Lucky Do last time out, that form has since been franked and under similar conditions here he looks the one to be on. Cara Sposa rates the main danger on his latest second behind Sculastic but he often finds less than expected off the bridle and at likely odds he looks worth taking on. Spirit Calling is another that could go well on his best form but he disappointed for no apparent reason last time out so he can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Young Bull has shown glimers of ability but he may be seen to better effect in a handicap and with this in mind for the winner we return to Zumrah.
