        Verdict

        Liberal didn't show much in three starts for Jamie Osborne but made a winning debut for new connections at Golden Gate. He's never run on Turf which will be a disadvantage here. Go For A Ride has been outclassed since landing a maiden claimer here in October and this is much more like his grade. Worthy Turk is taking a drop in class and has the inside though is likely to be beaten for the lead by KRIS' WILD KAT. Lightly-raced for his age, he has yet to prove he stays the trip but should get a long enough lead to hang on.
