Dual winner Groupie Doll is not around to defend her title but last year's runner-up Judy The Beauty is back for more. Wesley Ward's mare landed a Grade 1 event early in the year and appears to have been laid out for this. The latter may well succeed but a chance is taken on the progressive three-year-old ARTEMIS AGROTERA. Forced wide at Belmont last time, she made up five lengths in the homestretch for an impressive win to add to her earlier victory in a Grade 1 at Saratoga. Sweet Reason has a bit to find with the selection but Leigh Court is still improving and should figure. It would be some story if the former Phil McEntee inmate Living The Life proved good enough, though she has won both starts in North America including a Grade 2 event so may not be that far away.
