      Verdict

      KAYFAST WARRIOR came up short at Chepstow bidding for a five-timer but he was only beaten a neck and gets another chance in this as he won’t be troubled by any further rain. Mark Of Respect is less certain to handle the underfoot conditions after scoring at Newmarket while Graystone won on fast going at Yarmouth but is still preferred to Uncle Dick, who is usually thereabouts without winning. Discomatic has only won a maiden on the all-weather and is unexposed on this surface.
