GRANDE CAIMAN could be an interesting runner here following a lengthy lay-off, but we'll chance he's fit and side with him ahead of Lang Shining and Dingaan. Richard Hannon's got two here, and Grande Caiman is way ahead of Orchard Supreme on official ratings, and would be giving away weight all round if this was a handicap. Given the lay-off of more than a year, a step back in trip from what he's more used to seems sensible, but all his six career wins have come on the all-weather. This could though be the perfect opportunity for him to bounce back in style. Lang Shining looks perhaps too obvious, following three successive wins in claimers after going more than two years without a win, but will no doubt attract plenty of support. Dingaan's dropped into this sort of company after coming last in a Group 2 race last month. He's been regularly running in better races than this, but has shown little since winning a Kempton handicap in February. Gary Moore's Easy Target has been rated as high as 101, and probably needed his run last time out when seeing a track for the first time in nearly a year. This is his first turf outing since winning at this sort of level in France, and support would be interesting. We'll tentatively side though with Grande Caiman.
