Day Flight won on his reappearance last term and has an obvious chance at the weights but John Gosden's five-year-old is undoubtedly at his best with more cut in the ground and preference is for Notable Guest, who gets the vote over Rohaani. The last mentioned is a stablemate of the selection and while having a bit to find on official BHB ratings does have the benefit of a previous run this term. Willie Muir's Enforcer showed progressive form last term and should be more at home on this surface than under more testing conditions last time. Orcadian comes here fit from a couple of runs over hurdles and has place claims along with Amanda Perrrett's Weightless, who is another that may need a softer surface to be at his best. The vote then goes to Notable Guest who progressed throughout last term and will relish the underfoot conditions more than likely favourite Day Flight.
