York Cliff has shown improved form of late in banded races and handicaps and is taken to resume winning ways in this company with Age of Kings and Paso Doble rated the main dangers. The selection wants an end-to-end gallop to show his best form and there is no reason why Mark Brisbourne's gelding should not get that. Chater Knight is less exposed than most of these but has been doing all of his running on the Fibresand and it remains to be seen whether he will be as effective on the Polytarck. Oberon's Prize has only had two starts so far and is hard to evaluate and of more interest may be Age of Kings, who is very well treated on the pick of his form. Paso Doble is similarly well treated but has yet to prove that he stays this far and a safer bet looks to be York Cliff, who gets the vote.
