In depth

Verdict

Dream Rose is given the narrow vote in this maiden fillies' stakes with Choir Practice and Gates of Eden rated as the main dangers. The selection is eased in grade after disappointing in a Listed race at The Curragh last time. However, she had shown enough in her previous three runs to make her the one to beat today and she is difficult to oppose. Choir Practice is the obvious threat as she showed plenty of promise on her debut at Newmarket when third behind Nidhaal. She was not given a hard race that day and as she is sure to improve for that effort she is taken to score. Similar comments can be made about Gates of Eden who was a decent third behind Snow Crystal at Yarmouth on her racecourse bow. She is sure to improve and with the booking of Jamie Spencer a positive, she should go well. Galileo's Star is another who made a pleasing debut and she is worth noting in the market, but for the winner we will stick with Dream Rose who has by the the best form on show here.
