Intercessor won three times last season but has drawn a blank so far this campaign and still looks a few pounds too high. Night Arc is only 1-14 and has been beaten in lesser company recently. He also looks held by Snapcracklepop on last month’s run at Windsor while dual Kempton winner Two Tempting is 0-9 on Turf. MUDSKIPPER (NAP) showed promise in his first season and, gelded since his fifth at Goodwood in May, David Menusier’s three-year-old can open his account in this with William Buick taking over the reins.
