Alessano, Boot n Toot and Takafu are the three main contenders here with the vote going to the last named. The selection has been in great form of late as has the stable and managed to score at Warwick when beating Whispering Death last time out. He has been put up six pounds in the weights by the handicapper for his short head success which could look quite harsh but he is a horse that looks to be on the upgrade so is worth siding with once again. Alessano is the biggest threat to the selection. His win at Windsor when beating Ocean Avenue by a neck was a sound effort and with only a three ponds rise in the weights he has to be considered. Boot n Toot is the best of the rest and caught the eye last time out when second at Lingfield but he might find one or two a little better today. So for the winner we return to Takafu.
