Callisto Moon won this in 2009 and is just 2lb higher than when completing a double at Ayr. He has to be respected while the lightly-raced Ampleforth has always looked as though this trip would suit and he's dropped to a fair mark. The Holyman has won three times on Polytrack at Lingfield and has only run twice on Turf so he's a difficult one to weigh up but there are no such problems about STOCK HILL FAIR and he gets the nod. A dual winning bumper, he raced over this trip for the first time under Flat rules on soft ground at Yarmouth and Kieren Fallon steered him to a comfortable success. A 6lb rise looks manageable and he can follow-up.
