This is usually a good trial for the juvenile races at Royal Ascot. HACKMAN was only third behind Blue Storm on debut at Newmarket but ran green in the closing stages after travelling best into the dip. He was much more the finished article at Chester and appears to have the plum draw here next to the rail. Love Billy Boy won nicely at Musselburgh and Richard Hannon also runs the easy Newbury scorer Dapper Valley, who holds Salisbury winner Matters Most on the form book. Doncaster winner Elite Status is preferred to World Of Darcy of Karl Burke’s pair and Godolphin’s On Point can’t be ignored even though he had only two rivals when odds-on at Newmarket.
