Indigo Girl was a high-class juvenile but her reappearance was inconclusive as to whether she retains her former ability while Maamora seems to have lost the plot. AURIA has done nothing but improve since making her debut last October. The return to a mile clearly suited here seven weeks ago and she has more scope than Waliyak, who probably didn’t have much to beat on soft going at Haydock two weeks ago. Potapova could still be anything, however, having run in the Coronation Stakes after two wins in minor company while Saffron Beach’s second in the Nell Gwyn in the spring is working out well.
