      Verdict

      SAAHEQ is 2lb lower than when successful over course and distance in June. Vandad and Phoenix Star were behind and are worse off at the weights and Amanda Perrett’s course specialist would not have enjoyed the softer going when behind the latter subsequently. He is closely matched with Buy Me Back and Spring Bloom on their run together here last month and back in the right grade today. Devil's Angel is best over 6f and Ehrmann’s connections will have been praying for rain but Rose Hip is starting to come down the weights again and will have conditions to suit.
