Verdict

DOMINATE is out of a mare who won all of her three starts as a 2yo. He missed the break on his debut at Windsor on soft ground and was given a patient ride but stayed on nicely when the penny dropped looking a sure-fire future winner in the process. He gets the vote, though only just, over Red Explorer, another who started slowly on his debut at Haydock before staying on well to finish runner-up to Secret Look. Charles Hills' colt will have come on for that experience and looks a real threat. Starlight Angel made a bright start behind Botanic Garden at Chester and showed quite good pace for a 100/1 chance in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot before weakening quickly. This is more her grade and she should go well.
