Sally Randell partnered her own Surenaga to victory in this 12 months ago and teams up with Paul Rich's Sizing America today. Harry Wallace rode the winner for Charlie Mann in 2010 and is on board the same trainer's Masked Man, while Paul Nicholls has supplied the winner three times in the last 10 years and relies on recent Wincanton runner-up ALDERTUNE. The latter appears to have the beating of Fair Point on that run and comes out best at the weights so he's the obvious selection, though C&D winner Satou is capable of going close if a Wincanton fall hasn't affected his confidence. Bolachoir was second in this race in 2010 and is a decent pointer. The ground will suit Patrick Chamings' 10-year-old and he also looks a threat.
